Located in the western part of Finnish Lapland, the Snow Village is within easy reach of both Ylläs and Levi. It is built entirely of snow and ice covering approximately an area of 20,000 square metres. As the village is constructed a fresh every year, the design and the interior decoration is always changing, offering a unique look and experience. The Snow Village offers you the choice of two uniquely different chapels for your wedding ceremony.
The Ice Chapel can be used for an intimate wedding or if you have a wedding party it is big enough for about 60 guests. It is decorated with reindeer skin, candles and a flower arrangement on the altar. This stunning chapel will ensure your Arctic wedding dreams come true.
If you’d rather have a warmer choice of venue for your ceremony, then choose the beautiful and cosy wooden chapel of St. John. This small wooden log chapel has seats for up to 20 guests and with a real lit fire in the fireplace and flickering candles you can make your vows together in this unique little chapel.
The Snow Village is a great choice for a small intimate wedding or larger party sizes of up to 60 guests. Our prices shown below are based on a couple and cover everything you’ll need to make your special day one to remember.

You can't beat making a stylish arrival at your own wedding and at the Snow Village you can arrive in traditional Lappish style. Enjoy a romantic husky or reindeer sled arrival, it's the perfect way to arrive at the Snow Village. If a more exhilarating arrival is your style, add a bit of speed to the proceedings and arrive on a snowmobile. Prices start from £219 per couple
After the ceremony as a newly married couple retire to either the Ice Restaurant or the near by Log Restaurant for a celebratory Lappish Meal. It's a great way to add some extra authenticity to your wilderness wedding. A 3 course dinner in the Ice Restaurant is available form £60 per person.
Your guests will love celebrating your wedding inside the Ice Bar with a disco. The whole bar and the tables are made out of ice! Maximum duration of the event is 4 hours, prices from £721.
Warm coveralls and boots can also be rented in advance.
Fireworks are a spectacular way to highlight your wedding and surprise your guests in an unexpected way. Our professional shows are set up and made by trained and authorised professionals. We've a choice of firework packages to choose from with prices starting from £590
Make that first night as man and wife a memorable one! We've got a great choice of options including an overnight stay in an Ice Suite or standard Ice Room at the Snow Village. If you fancy something a bit warmer then check out a Teepee Cabin complete with jacuzzi and hot tub or if you want to make the sky move on your wedding night choose a glass igloo high up in the Levi Fell. Our igloos complete with motorised rotating bed are fully roofed over with glass so the sky at night is always just above you. Prices vary by date and style of accommodation, starting from £288 including breakfast.

Wedding Photos Option 1 The price includes photography of the wedding ceremony in the chapel and includes photos in surrounding area. Images are supplied on-line as Hi Resolution JPG files - £550
Wedding Photos Option 2 Price includes photos taken during the ceremony in the chapel as well as photos taken in the surroundings. All the photos will be delivered on a CD (high-resolution and WEB-versions included). Price includes some basic image processing and thus the photos will be mailed to your home address within 1-2 weeks - £393
Wedding Photos Option 2 (whole day) This price includes a meeting with the photographer to plan the photo shooting. On the wedding day photographer is at your disposal altogether 8 hours which can be divided into shorter sections so that you get photos for example of your make up in the morning and photos taken during the wedding meal. Photos taken during the day will be delivered on a DVD with two different resolutions (high-resolution and web-resolution). Price includes also photography of the ceremony and photos taken in the surroundings - £1549

Each Superior Igloo has a kitchenette equipped with breakfast set for two, electric stove, microwave, coffee-maker, kettle, toaster and fridge. The Igloos have a radio/CD player, hair dryer, shower and toilet. At the centre of the igloo is a motorised bed that can be converted to twin beds.
