Rovaniemi

Rovaniemi Candle Bridge

Rovaniemi is unlike other Lapland resorts. While the rest of Lapland enjoys a slower pace of life, Rovaniemi is a lively metropolis that never sleeps. The compact city center has everyting packed around a few main streets. Here shopping malls are home to big department stores and fashion boutiques. Smart restaurants serve traditional Lappish fare, French cuisine, and pizza. But throught out the city are reminders that your are in Lapland - bright Christmas trees and amazing ice sculptures.

Just five minures outside the city and you are in a dramatic wintery wonderland that stretches out in all directions.

Rovaniemi is also home to the reknowned Santa Parks with Santa' Post Office, Elves Workshop and much more.
